From Andrew Koetsier – Youth & Family Ministry Director

Greetings BFLC Family!
And just like that—summer has come and gone. If you are like our family, your August was filled with the last trip(s) of summer vacation, extra family time, and the inevitable gearing up for the new school year. With the new school year comes new beginnings, new expectations, and new (or renewed) rhythms.
As you and your family head into the fall, I pray that amid all the busyness, you will settle into intentional rhythms with Jesus as a family. For some, this may mean a renewed commitment to be present each Sunday, worshipping and learning together with our brothers and sisters at BFLC. For some, it may be a commitment to smaller, intentional community like a small group, youth group, or other group focused on growing together with Jesus. For some, it may mean a new priority of regular time in God’s Word and prayer as a family, supporting and encouraging one another in your daily walk with Jesus.
For all, I pray that you would be reminded of God’s presence with you throughout your day, whether filled with work, school, or play. May you be salt and light (Matthew 6:13-16) wherever He sends you. May you know that He goes with you and may you join intentionally in His kingdom life and work.
With you on the journey,
Andrew Koetsier
