The Scribe – January 2023

From Pastor Ken

The Real Work of Christmas
When the song of the angels is stilled,
When the star in the sky is gone,
When the kings and princes are home,
When the shepherds are back with their flock,
The work of Christmas begins:
To find the lost,
To heal the broken,
To feed the hungry,
To release the prisoner,
To rebuild the nations,
To bring peace among all,
To make music in the heart.

REVIVE! – January 2023

Join us as we kick off 2023 with a morning to refresh, rejuvenate and revive your MIND, BODY and SPIRIT at our Winter REVIVE! Event.

God is at work in all of us, in our big moments and even in our everyday goings and comings. What’s God’s story in your life? We’ll take a look to see where He’s been showing up in our lives, sometimes where we least expect it. It will be a fun and interactive way to uncover your own Jesus story.

Back by popular demand – Mary Ritchie, YMCA and Silver Sneakers coach, will provide some fun while we move our bodies and get the circulation going.

We’ll provide music, food and plenty of time to get to know your neighbors from the community. A delicious breakfast will be provided.

$10.00 per person
All women over 18 years old are invited.
