Certainly not!&nbsp;Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law.&nbsp;For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, \u201cYou shall not covet.\u201d&nbsp;<sup>8&nbsp;<\/sup>But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment,&nbsp;produced in me every kind of coveting. For apart from the law, sin was dead.&nbsp;<sup>9&nbsp;<\/sup>Once I was alive apart from the law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died.&nbsp;<sup>10&nbsp;<\/sup>I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life&nbsp;actually brought death.&nbsp;<sup>11&nbsp;<\/sup>For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment,&nbsp;deceived me,&nbsp;and through the commandment put me to death.&nbsp;<sup>12&nbsp;<\/sup>So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>13&nbsp;<\/sup>Did that which is good, then, become death to me? By no means! Nevertheless, in order that sin might be recognized as sin, it used what is good&nbsp;to bring about my death,&nbsp;so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>14&nbsp;<\/sup>We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual,&nbsp;sold&nbsp;as a slave to sin.&nbsp;<sup>15&nbsp;<\/sup>I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.&nbsp;<sup>16&nbsp;<\/sup>And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good.&nbsp;<sup>17&nbsp;<\/sup>As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.&nbsp;<sup>18&nbsp;<\/sup>For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.&nbsp;For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.&nbsp;<sup>19&nbsp;<\/sup>For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do\u2014this I keep on doing.&nbsp;<sup>20&nbsp;<\/sup>Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>21&nbsp;<\/sup>So I find this law at work:&nbsp;Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me.&nbsp;<sup>22&nbsp;<\/sup>For in my inner being&nbsp;I delight in God\u2019s law;&nbsp;<sup>23&nbsp;<\/sup>but I see another law at work in me, waging war&nbsp;against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin&nbsp;at work within me.&nbsp;<sup>24&nbsp;<\/sup>What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?&nbsp;<sup>25&nbsp;<\/sup>Thanks be to God<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mathew 11:16-19, 25-30<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>16&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cTo what can I compare this generation? They are like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling out to others:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>17&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201c\u2018We played the pipe for you,<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and you did not dance;<br>we sang a dirge,<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;and you did not mourn.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>18&nbsp;<\/sup>For John came neither eating&nbsp;nor drinking,&nbsp;and they say, \u2018He has a demon.\u2019&nbsp;<sup>19&nbsp;<\/sup>The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, \u2018Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.\u2019&nbsp;But wisdom is proved right by her deeds.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>25&nbsp;<\/sup>At that time Jesus said,&nbsp;\u201cI praise you, Father,&nbsp;Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.&nbsp;<sup>26&nbsp;<\/sup>Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>27&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cAll things have been committed to me&nbsp;by my Father.&nbsp;No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>28&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cCome to me,&nbsp;all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.&nbsp;<sup>29&nbsp;<\/sup>Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,&nbsp;for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.&nbsp;<sup>30&nbsp;<\/sup>For my yoke is easy and my burden is
