Black Forest Lutheran Church has a choir led by Melanie Hohag, a handbell choir led by Bill Fitzpatrick, and a contemporary music group.<\/p>

Our music worship is traditional in style, utilizing organ and a blended style using piano and instruments on alternating Sundays.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Altar Guild<\/strong>
The Altar Guild is entrusted with preparing the worship space for holy communion. The goal of the Altar Guild is to see that the space is kept beautiful and in good order. Duties of the Altar Guild Chairperson are keeping the chancel, altar, font, and pulpit clean, as well as laundering linens and vestments, repairing\/replacing paraments, changing banners weekly, and preparing the schedules.
Altar Guild members are responsible for preparing the altar for communion and cleaning all communion vessels, linens, etc. after each service. At times, they will assist the Assisting Ministers with re-filling chalices with wine, and preparing the baptismal font for baptisms. The Altar Guild are the unseen workers at each worship service.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Crucifer<\/strong>
A youth, wearing a white robe, carries the processional cross during festival (special) Sundays at the start and end of the service.
Greeters<\/strong>
The greeters welcome members and visitors with a smile and handshake as they arrive.
Prayer Ministers<\/strong>
Prayers for healing are often available during Holy Communion for individuals or families.
Scripture Reader<\/strong>
An adult reads the First and Second scriptures from the pulpit.
Ushers<\/strong>
