Black Forest Lutheran Church offers small groups to encourage more community and fellowship between members.
Book Club – meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 1pm. All are welcome to join us at the church for discussion and refreshments. Copies of the book on loan from the Pikes Peak Library District Book Club Collection are available in the church office to be signed out. Please contact Nancy Lord with any questions.
Caring for Loved Adults – is a support group for those who are caregivers for spouses or elderly parents. The group meets on an as needed basis. Call Jan Duncan for more information or resources.
Men’s Bible Study – meets every Saturday at 7:00 AM at the church. The group is currently studying Ephesians. No need to bring anything but your Bible.
Women’s Bible Study – meets on Monday afternoon at 1:00 PM in the home of Donna Wesley. The study is Overcoming Worry. Call the church office for more information.
Card Making Ministry – A group of folks who enjoy scrapbooking gather quarterly to create cards to celebrate special occasions such a birthdays or anniversaries as well as design cards or those going through challenging times who may welcome some encouragement. Quilters Group – The hand quilters meet on Thursdays and do everything from design to blocking to finishing by hand. They create queen-size quilts which are then raffled each holiday season. Proceeds go to church projects and charities. They welcome all and are willing to teach as you go. For more information contact Kathy Steinke.
