The Women’s Ministry of Black Forest Lutheran Church held a Saturday morning event to refresh, rejuvenate and revive at their kick-off REVIVE! Event on January 8, 2022!

More than 60 women from the community gathered to hear the keynote speaker, Krickitt Carpenter, co-author of the book – The Vow. Her book was also the inspiration for the box office hit – The Vow starring Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams.

Krickitt shared her experiences about the devastating car accident, brain injury, memory loss and recovery. She also talked about writing a best seller book, walking the Red Carpet with Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams.

Most importantly, Krickitt believes her relationship with Jesus and her faith community are what carried her through unthinkable tragedies and personal struggles.
