I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!”
We know that in all things God is working for good, for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.
12 I have learned the secret of being well-fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need. 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
The Serenity Prayer
God grant me
the serenity to accept what I cannot change,
the courage to change what I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time.
Enjoying one moment at a time.
Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.
Taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it.
Trusting that you will make all things right, if I surrender to your will.
So that I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with you forever in the next.
